Here is a vintage 1964 wall map / poster of Disneyland U.S.A. in Anaheim, California. Produced by Walt Disney Productions. The map depicts an overall aerial view of the Magic Kingdom at that time. It is quite a treasure to see Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, Adventureland, Main Street, the Monorail, the Castle and the original Disneyland Hotel in their historical context! Very cool graphics and drawings including sketches of the main characters around the border.
The map measures approximately 43.5 inches by 29.75 inches and is still folded in its original configuration. A very beautiful piece you don't see every day!
This is a pre-owned, used and vintage item. The color is very good overall, and the graphics are clear, with no fading. You will notice assorted
non-detracting flaws, such as:
- Moderate edge wear, small creases, minor smudging, dirt/soiling and yellowing commensurate with age/use/handling (photos #6,#8,#11)
- Fold lines with associated dirt build-up and wear lines on the print side (photos #2-6,#8-11)
- Small holes at or near the intersection of some fold lines. (I counted 6 of them from pinholes to about 1/4 inch - the worst is shown in photo #12.) When displayed these are not prominent.
- Small edge tears in two (2) places (the worst is seen in photo #9)
- Pen marks in two (2) places on the
back
