VTG 1948 PITTSBURG STATE GORILLAS HOMECOMING v WASHBURN FOOTBALL PIN BUTTON

This is a vintage pinback button, pin or badge. It is celluloid over tin. It pictures a football player, and reads: "PITTSBURG STATE - Homecoming - Oct. 16, 1948...BEAT WASHBURN." Pittsburg State University ("Pitt State" or "PSU") is located in Kansas, and their mascot is the gorilla. This pin measures 2 & 1/4 inches wide. The condition is GOOD. The metal BACK has some thin surface rust. The front is mostly clean, but it does have some TAN SPOTTING near the bottom, and on the edges. It still displays very nicely. It is guaranteed to be old & original - made in 1948 - or your money back.
