    Scythe Cutting Blade SAIGA, blacksmith made in RUSSIA by traditional technology since 1827. ARTI plant is the only manufacturer of Russian scythes, sickles and grass hooks.
    This scythe is hand forged from excellent hard steel using traditional way of approximately 25 technological steps. It is forged from round stock - not from prefabricated steel plate. This ensures maximum toughness. It can be peened into very fine edge without cracking of the material.
    SAIGA-7 blade very handy for mowing field grasses, trimming around trees in the orchard and mowing weeds around the gardens. The edge holds up well
    mowing conditions that will normally damage the thinner grass blades.
