    This is an original document, circa the King George Wars, of a 5 point garrison or fort....from the papers of Captain John Abbott. Document is 8x12, folds out to a full 16x12 size, minor faults at folds, great watermarks from King George II in the laid paper....presents itself well.
    John Abbott (1704-1793) fought in the French and Indian War in 1754. He was Captain of 2nd Andover Foot Company, 4th Regiment of Essex County Militia under Col. Richard Saltonstall, 1754.
