Chester County, Pennsylvania 100 Acre Land Deed from 1794 mentions William Penn 1718 (yes the same William Penn that the state is named after). It measures approximately 24"x20" when fully opened.
William Penn's name you can see on the 5th line underlined in red (pic#2) after WHEREAS in books lettering. Apparently her sold his property the same year he passed away. Anyway this document reads until 1794.
This Indenture has some writing on it from previous owners. There is some circling of many different names as well.
The seals seem to be fairly interact. The top two corners as you can see, are missing.. Very like tearing at the folds and 1 treat in the top middle edge.
This is an amazing piece of American & Pennsylvania History. Please look closely. The condition is VG for this being so old. The writing stands out so well.
This needs to go to a good home where it will be displayed proudly.
