EU38 Medium Gudbrandsdalen is a long valley with several bunads credited to it. The valley has outstanding farms with slate roofing and a fabulous culture. This is one of the bunad designs from the northern part (Lom) & is called Rondastakk and Rutaliv. "Ruta" means plaid and the name Rondastakk has its origin in the word "stripe" skirt or stakk is striped. The skirt is woven of wool and cotton. The aprons can vary according to farm or location. APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS: Professional bunad seamstress services available if needed. Shoulder to waist 15" Bodice (bust) back under arm to under arm lying flat is 17" across. Bodice or bust closed is therefore 34" but can be larger with open in front and/or adjusted with lacing. We have pewter lacing available if you would like Waist: 28-29" Sweater Green soft wool Geieger size 36 Includes: Bunad with wool hand-woven apron, Norwegian white cotton bunad shirt with lace edging and soft wool Geiger sweater in Hunter Green.
