DESCRIPTION:Antique pair of
Sevres hand painted porcelain dinner plates
One plate has an old hand written paper label on the back that says "Hotel Lambert #725" perhaps from an old family inventory list. Hotel Lambert is an historical building in Paris which can easily be researched online. It is associated with a number of well known historical figures who lived or visited there including Voltaire, George Sand, and Chopin.
In our opinion, these are most likely authentic 18th century Sevres plates and not later copies or reproductions. However, if this issue matters to you, please research them on your own before bidding.
