    Description
    We offer for sale a A VERY RARE BIG
    VINTAGE WWI MILITARY FIRST AID KIT WOODEN SURGERY NURSE BOX FOR GAS TREATMENT.
    As you can see in the photos this is an ORIGINAL BRITISH FIRST AID MILITARY WAR GAS BOX in used condition.
    Made of wood, bamboo, leather, with metal and chain parts and pieces of rope around. The big thick chain at the back was possibly used for transportation/carrying purposes. Most metal parts, buckles, clips and chains are still in good place. One strap on the left side (as you are looking at the box) is missing. The lid opens and closes almost correctly and the front opening/closing metal buckles are fitting/closing well.
    The front side of the box has the RED CROSS & is marked with: "GAS TREATMENT", while the right and left sides are marked with the capital letters: "G.T.P." There is still a stick on the upper outer side of the lid marked with:
    "290 BRITISH RAILWAYS (RAILWAY EXECUTIVE)
    SOUTHAMPTON"
