    Description

    A wonderful 425 year old French document on vellum (sheep or goatskin) clearly dated in 1592.  The document is on the centennial of Columbus first voyageand has sensational calligraphy.  It also has the blue oval stamp of the Order of the Knights of Malta.  Extremely elaborate signatures.  Approximately 5 1/2" x 12" in size, outstanding condition.  Minor ink fading, as is expected on these old documents.  Perfect for framing.
