    Cincuenta
    or 50 Colones note from the
    "Banco Central de Costa Rica"
    . This type was issued in 1987 and 1988. It celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Bank.
    The note pictures an 1866 50 Centavos coin and Gaspar Ortuno y Ors, one of the early partners in the bank.

    A used specimen, it saw some hands. It has no edge or body tears but it does have a couple of small pinholes. As grading is subjective please see the pictures and judge for yourself.
