1975 Mauritius 25 Rupees WWF Conservation Butterfly Proof Silver Coin

Description

This Mauritian silver proof coin was minted in 1975 as part of a collaboration with the World Wildlife Fund.  The coin shows a young portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse with a butterfly feeding at flowers on the reverse.  The coin weighs 28.28g and is sterling.
The coin is in generally good shape.  The only notable defects look to be a milk spot near the rim midway between the words "Mauritius" and "rupees" as well as a line on each the reverse and obverse which might be scratches or might be debris, a small amount of which is present in the capsule.
