Noah Emery was born in Kittery, Maine, December 22, 1725, died in Exeter in  January, 1788, leaving 5 sons and 4 daughters.
Internet research shows:  Member of the Provincial Congress, and Clerk of the Assembly in New Hampshire, in the Revolution Daniel Webster in Phillips Exeter Academy (the distinguished counsellor at Portland whom I am proud to call master, says Webster in his Autobiography), afterwards one of the Justices of the Supreme Court of Maine 3 John, b. 1780, d. 1874; Noah, b. 1782, d. 1813, m. Elizabeth Folsom (afterward Mrs. Hurd); Jane Hale, b. 1788, d. 1801 3 Elizabeth Phillips, b. 1794, d. 1883, m. Gideon L. Soule, LL. D., b. 1796, d. 1879, Principal of Phillips Exeter Academy. Children of these were, Charles Emery Soule of the New York Bar, Nicholas Emery Soule, M. D. And Augustus Lord Soule, late one of the Justices of the Supreme Court of Massachusetts.
